  33. I'd just like to add some info... the socket on the motherboard fitts JUST
  34. fine to an FPU (or actually FPCP). Also the frequency problem is this... in
  35. the Amiga 1200 there is just one oscilator, running about 30MHz. This is then
  36. scaled down to the different components in the Amiga. It's no problem to
  37. replace the crystal to a 33.3MHz at all... the processor will then run on
  38. 16.5MHz... everything will go faster (the graphics too). The only thing is
  39. that the luminance-circuit in the rf-modulator (the one that gives out
  40. composite video and TV-signa) won't deliver the signal in right frequensy.
  41. What happens is that if ya run the Amiga with a standard TV (not via RGB or
  42. SCART) the picture will not be synced. So if yo run with a monitor... no
  43. plobs!
